The Farsight PRS Team

The Farsight Team are dedicated to investigating the paranormal to the best of their abilty.

Farsight PRS Founder & Lead Investigator - Ashley Knibb
Farsight PRS Founder - Ashley Knibb

Following an almost life long interest in the paranormal Ashley decided to find out more late in 2007. This began by researching some locally known locations and writing what he found out in his journal. As his passion grew and realisation that he enjoyed writing about the paranormal developed, he decided to take the next step.

The Farsight Files Blog was born and with advice from his new friends in the paranormal, Ashley became more involved.

After joining Paranormal Tours at the Salisbury Guildhall, he was hooked. Then following being a part of the ISP investigation of Enfield Royal British Legion, there was no turning back.

When it was suggested to him that it may be a good idea to start his own investigation team, he hesitated, this wasn't something he had considered. However, after some thought he decided to go for it and then Farsight PRS was born.

Farsight PRS Documentarian - Leanne Knibb

Leanne is trained in factual production, having made documentaries that have dealt with the subject of Disability and Sex, Bus services in rural Wales, and the Tsunami. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to work with BBC Wales factual department, working on Coast and Iolo's Welsh Safari, and has been working as a technical operator both in Live studio, and Outside broadcasting. Recently, Leanne has written and produced a film for Statkraft UK, telling the history of Rheiol Power station.

From a young age Leanne has always been fascinated by the paranormal, and the concept of life after death. As a child she always enjoyed watching the American programme 'Unsolved Mysteries' and reading about haunted locations.

Leanne will use her experience to document our investigations on film, to enable us to share our findings. Her valuable experience in working on documentaries will help us communicate our paranormal research.

Farsight PRS Assistant Documentarian - Lucy Harkness

Lucy works closely with Leanne as Fasight’s Assistant ocumentarian.

Having studied Film, Television and Media at Stafford University, Lucy spent a bit of time, travelling around Asia, Australia and Central America.

When she returned to live in Scarborough, she took on work as stage crew for the local theatre, and worked on ITV’s drama The Royal. For the last few years Lucy has worked at Gems TV, as a multi-skilled operator, and worked on several freelance projects. It is during her time at Gems that she met Leanne, and the beginning of Harklee Films was created.

Lucy is highly enthusiastic about the Farsight Files project, and its innovative style. She looks forward to filming future investigations.

Farsight PRS Photographer / Interviewer - Keith Huckfield
Keith has always been fascinated by the idea of the paranormal and if there is anything out there what that would be. The psychological side of paranormal experience is a particular area of interest to him, i.e. how much of experiences is down to the expectations of the person involved.

Keith is also interested in the mechanical nature of the paranormal; if it is there how it works. So far the two investigations he has been on have only peaked his interest further, especially Llanthony Secunda where he encountered some interesting phenomena first hand.

Keith's main involvement is the filming and photographing of investigations, but he enjoys taking an active role in the experiments themselves.

Farsight PRS Medium - Clare Hinks

Clare has had a long interest in the paranormal which is hightened by her ability as a medium. She has experience in giving individual readings and advising her cousin Ashley Knibb in the more spiritual aspects of the paranormal.

Clare has joined Farsight PRS as a spiritual advisor and the teams own trusted medium for investigations. The team will use her abilities and experience to gain more information on investigations. As ever, anything that Clare picks up will be researched to find validating and supportive evidence.

Farsight PRS Lead Investigator - Jim Bridgeman

Jim's interest in the paranormal started at a young age after hearing stories of how his Mum's family home growing up was shared with a spirit by the name of 'Mr Pue'. He would open doors then close them after being asked to do so.

Through his childhood Jim read many books and shared his interest with his friend Ian Pegg. This would later grow into the paranormal research group In Search of Proof (ISP).

Jim works with ISP and Paranormal Tours exploring the scientific side of the paranormal trying to discover the truth behind the age old fasination.

Jim's team ISP were accepted into the TAPS family in 2008 and later taken on as advisors to Farsight PRS. After filming with the crew Jim was offered a perminant position as a member of the Farsight PRS Team.

Farsight PRS Tech Manager - Ian Pegg

Ian, like Jim, had an early interest in the paranormal. His interest only increased by such '90's programmes as 'Strange But True'. He has a keen interest in the gadgetry behind paranormal investigation and is the Tech Manager for ISP. Ian has a logical approach to investigating and is never afraid to air his views on supposed activity.

Ian has joined Farsight PRS on two investigations and was offered a perminant position for the wealth he brought to the team.

Farsight PRS Investigator / Sensitive - Cliff Rose

Cliff joined ISP in 2006, as a friend of Jim and Ian. At first he simply had an interest and a scratch that needed to be itched. After joining ISP on a few investigations Jim and Ian saw potential in his abilities as an investigator and also saw a spiritual side growing with this.

Cliff beleives himself to be sensitive to the spirit world and works with spirits to try and validate claims of activity. Cliff doesn't claim to be a medium, but rather a sensitive paranormal investigator. With these two sides in balance, Cliff is an effective investigator.

After seeing Cliff at work on his first Farsight PRS investigation and how well he fit in with the rest of the team, it was a logical step to offer him a perminant place with the Farsight PRS team.

Farsight PRS Spiritual Investigator - Liz Egan
Ghost Hunt

Liz's interest in the paranormal began at a young age after being brought up in a house with more than its fair share of odd activity, but found what was happening fascinating, albeit pretty scary. Following a quest to buy as many books as she could on the subject to try and understand what was happening, and then became hooked on anything concerning the paranormal, ufo's and anything that proved a challenge to the laws of nature!

Liz has now been on around 40 plus investigations and have encountered some amazing things that has left her pretty amazed.

Liz joined Farsight PRS on our very first investigation at Valentines Mansion and has been a great supporter of the team ever since. After joining Farsight at Landguard it seemed the right thing for her to join the team officially, bringing her knowledge, experience and advice to the team.

Farsight PRS Investigator / Sceptic - Martin Gregory

Martin began investigating at the beginning of 2004 with Paranormal Tours and has been running paranormal events in the UK since 2005. He has yet to encounter any significant paranormal experiences in the 70+ investigations he has been a part of, and this may be because he sets the bar that much higher. Martin's passion for the investigation is not born out of any kind of paranormal experience. For him it is quite the opposite – 'I have found an interest not only to discover that elusive proof, but also a desire to cut through what I believe is a veil of suggestion, psychological manipulation and simple coincidence', he states. He likes to encourage others to consider a more objective approach by embracing the technological and scientific as a way to verify what is predominantly subjective phenomena. Martin's ‘mantra’ however remains simple – 'once you have eliminated all possible logical explanations, whatever is left, however implausible, must be the truth'. A good rule to investigate by.

After showing his support and joining a couple of the Farsight PRS investigations, it made sense to have him on the team.
